THE African National Congress has accepted national executive committee (NEC) member Pallo Jordan’s resignation from Parliament, secretary-general Gwede Mantashe said on Monday.
Mr Mantashe said Mr Jordan had apologised after media reports revealed that he did not hold a PhD, after long using the title “Dr”.
Mr Mantashe said the ANC had received a “detailed explanation” from Mr Jordan on the claims regarding his qualifications.
