THE Competition Commission is on Monday expected to shed light on the raids it conducted on Friday at the offices of two vehicle body repairers and a vehicle assessment centre.
The commission said the raids came after its suspicions that information relevant to its investigation into collusion in the market for vehicle body repairs was being kept at the concerned premises.
In terms of the Competition Act, the commission has the power to search and seize documents where there were reasonable grounds.
